How We Verify Providers
Every business in this directory was verified before its listing went live, and class details are either entered by the provider or imported from the provider's own public schedule. This page sets out exactly what that means, and what it does not.
What we check before a listing is published
A provider opens an account with a working email address, which is verified before the account can be used. They then complete their business details and confirm the business is a real training provider. An administrator reviews the account before it appears publicly.
- The business identity: name, address and the person who owns or acts for the business.
- Reachable contact details: a phone number and a web presence the business controls.
- The certifying agencies they teach for, so a class is never shown under an agency the business does not use.
- The courses they offer, so search filters only surface courses a provider actually teaches.
- A registration link that goes to the provider's own booking page, not to a third party selling on their behalf.
Where class details come from
Classes are entered by the provider by hand, or imported automatically from the provider's own public schedule page on a platform such as Enrollware, Acuity or Eventbrite.
An import never invents a class. When a schedule is connected, each class is matched to the provider's own course title, date and start time, and a class the provider rejected in review is not added back on the next import.
Providers can publish imported classes automatically, or keep new ones in a review list and approve them one at a time. Most start with review on.
What keeps a listing honest over time
The directory is built to go stale in the right direction: classes disappear when they stop being true, rather than sitting there looking bookable.
- A class drops out of the directory once it has taken place, and its page is marked as ended.
- A class the provider cancels is marked as cancelled rather than deleted, so a student who followed a link is never left guessing.
- Providers edit their own profile, classes and prices, so the fix for an out of date listing is normally with the business itself.
- An account that falls past due or is suspended is hidden from the directory and from search results until it is settled.
What we do not verify
This is a directory, not a regulator, and we do not want to imply more checking than we do.
- We do not audit an instructor's personal certification, insurance or licensing, and we do not inspect a training site.
- We do not decide whether a course satisfies a particular employer, school or licensing board. Check with them first.
- We do not verify third party reviews. Ratings and review widgets on a profile are supplied by the platform that hosts them, and we link to their source rather than restating them as our own.
- We cannot promise a place in a class, a specific date or a certification. That agreement is between you and the provider.
Reporting an error in a listing
If a business is not what it says it is, if a class does not exist, or if a price or address is wrong, tell us. Send what you know, including the link to the page, through the contact details published on northvalleysolutions.co, or contact the provider directly if the correction is theirs to make.
We correct, hide or remove listings that turn out to be misleading, and an account that breaks the terms of service can be suspended while we look into it.
What a membership does not buy
Membership decides whether a listing appears, and nothing else. It does not buy a position in search results, a mention in a guide, or a favourable review.
A paying provider is held to the same accuracy standard as a comped one, and a business that breaks the rules loses its listing regardless of what it pays.
Where to go next
If you are a training business, you can start a listing and read the terms that come with it. If you are looking for a class, search the directory by city, ZIP code or course.
