What this site is

CPR Class Listing is a directory. We publish profiles and upcoming classes for independent training businesses and link students to the registration page the provider runs themselves.

We do not teach classes, we do not take bookings and we do not collect payment for a class. Registration, payment, scheduling, certification and refunds are handled entirely by the provider you choose.

Because of that, we are not part of the agreement between a student and a provider, and we cannot promise a place, a date or a certification.

Browsing as a student

The directory is free to search and read. Nothing on it is medical advice, and no page here replaces the training itself or the guidance of a certified instructor.

Listings are supplied by providers and can change without notice. Check the date, time, location, price and certification with the provider before you travel or rely on a listing.

Certification requirements differ by employer, state and certifying agency. Choosing a class that meets your requirement is your responsibility, and the provider is the best source on what their course covers.

Listing a business as a provider

We may correct formatting, decline a listing, or suspend an account that breaks these terms, publishes misleading information, or is used to harm other people.

• You must own the business or be authorized to act for it.
• Your business name, address, contact details, certifying agencies and course offerings must be accurate.
• Keep your classes, dates, prices and availability current, whether you enter them by hand or sync them from your own schedule page.
• You are responsible for your own instructor certifications, licensing, insurance and the claims you make about your courses.

Membership, billing and cancellation

Providers pay $10 a month for a listing account. Payments are handled by Stripe, and we never see or store your full card number.

Membership renews automatically until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time from the billing page of your provider dashboard, and your listing stays live until the end of the month you have already paid for.

If a payment fails, the account becomes past due and the listing is hidden from the directory until the balance is settled. Fees for a month already under way are not refunded.

Some listings are comped: current North Valley Solutions content clients, and accounts an administrator adds by hand. Comped listings follow these same terms.

Content you add

You keep ownership of the text, photos, logos and articles you upload. You give us permission to display them in the directory, in search results, and in listings of the directory we publish elsewhere, only to promote your business and the directory.

You confirm that you have the right to use everything you upload, and that any photo showing a person was taken with their permission.

Articles you publish through your provider account appear on the blog under your business name and must be your own work or properly credited.

Content we publish

The guides, course descriptions and city and state pages written for the directory belong to us. Please do not republish them elsewhere in bulk without asking.

Acceptable use

• Do not copy the directory in bulk by scraping, crawling or any automated means, or reuse it to build another directory.
• Do not list a business you do not represent, or publish false or exaggerated claims about a business.
• Do not interfere with the site, try to reach data you have not been given access to, or use the site to send spam.
• Do not use another provider's photos, descriptions or articles.

Reviews and links to other sites

Provider profiles can include review widgets, ratings and links to pages on other companies' sites. That content belongs to those companies, and their own terms and privacy policies apply to it.

Availability and disclaimers

The directory is provided as it is. We work to keep listings accurate and the site running, but we do not promise that every listing is correct, complete or still available, or that the site will never be interrupted.

To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the directory.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the directory is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the directory changes. The date at the top of the page shows when it last changed, and continuing to use the site afterwards means you accept the updated terms.
